</script>deur Zanjé Kromhout 5 Oktober is Wêreld Onderwysersdag. Die afgelope week het hierdie gedagtes deur my kop geflits nadat ek my kleinding opgelaai het: Hoekom het niemand sy gesiggie afgevee na ete nie? Het hul vir hom sonbrandroom aan gesmeer voor die klas buite gaan speel het? Hoekom beloon Juffrou hulle heeltyd met lekkers? Wat is haar dissipline-styl? Sien Juffrou as iemand geboelie of seer gemaak word? En en en… Ek is egter nie trots hierop nie, en toe ek begin dink aan “Waardeer jou Juffrou-dag” en hoe ons juffrouens kan vier – het ek met ‘n groot skok besef ons moet hulle eintlik élke dag prys en eer en koffie voor aandra… baie stérk koffie! Ek besef toe ook dat my (baie hoë) verwagtinge van juffrou nooit vir my sal werk nie. Ek het maar net twee kinders by die huis en kom beswaarlik by alles uit. Boonop is kleuters se willetjies sterk, koppies vol planne is en uitdagend. En dan is daar nog baie van hulle ook! Die feit dat juffrouens elke oggend die kinders liefdevol groet, kans sien vir kunswerkies waar verf betrokke is en potty training ook nog deursien, laat my mond eintlik oophang.
